Hi all!
As my mother always used to say, "I am still alive and kicking!" I have lived in Germany since 1972, been married to my German farmer since 1973, have 3 children and 4 grandchildren, ages 5 to 12. We live right in the middle of Germany, south of Hannover, near the 1000-year-old town of Goslar north of the Harz Mountains. My husband has passed on the farm to our son (14th generation!), but is still actively participating in all the work. ;-) I am still teaching English on-site in a company, but only one day a week. Due to the fact that our girls live so far away, one on the Swiss border near Basel and the other near the Baltic Sea, we see our grandchildren less often--but then for much longer! I have them for 1 to 4 week periods of time, depending on the various school vacations. (It's totally different here in Germany!) So--I divide up my time in "Kinderzeit" and free time. I obviously love it. Life is good. Despite some health problems, I consider us all well and active, still travelling and enjoying life. Unfortunately, I cannot be with you at the reunion. I wish you all the best! Have a great time together!!! My warm greetings to all. Renée

Hello to all!
I am on vacation on Tenerife (Canary
Islands, Spain) at the moment and find time to answer. First, I
must express my appreciation and gratitude that you for taking
the time and making the effort to contact all of us.
The contact details you have are correct. I have lived in
Germany for over 40 years, am still married to a German farmer
(nearly 40 years), have 3 children and 4 grandchildren.
For the last years I have been extremely happy being
self-employed teaching business English in two companies near
us--and will delightfully continue as long as possible (forever?
:-) )
I find my life here very gratifying, am super satisfied--and
wish the same for each and every one of you!
If
anybody were interested, I would be glad to communicate. I must
unfortunately miss the reunion.
I wish you all a wonderful time
together.
Greetings and best wishes.
Renée Brennecke geb. Giebenhain
