The 1968 Wayzata Alumni Website (68WHS) is committed to protecting your privacy and provide a safe online experience. The 68WHS is operated for the use as a gathering point for alumnus of the Wayzata High School Class of 1968 and is a volunteer effort.  This Statement of Privacy applies to the 68WHS Alumni Web site, data collection and usage. By using 68WHS, you consent to the data practices as described in this statement.

Collection of your Personal Information
68WHS collects personally identifiable information, such as your e-mail address, name, address or telephone number.

There is also information about your computer hardware and software that is automatically collected by 68WHS.  This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring Web site addresses. This information is used by 68WHS for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the 68WHS Web site.

Please keep in mind that if you directly disclose personally identifiable information or personally sensitive data through 68WHS Website contact forms, this information will be collected and used for future contact by the Wayzata Class of 1968 and may be shared within the members of our graduating class.  Note: 68WHS forms are transmitted via email to designated class members that will change from time to time.  Your use of any forms on this site automatically includes your consent to the provisions of this privacy statement.

Use of your Personal Information
68WHS collects and uses your personal information to stay in touch with you and other alumni from our class as well as to operate the 68WHS Alumni Website Web site and deliver site services that our alumni request. 68WHS also uses your personally identifiable information to inform you of events or news related to our alumni class or activities. 68WHS may also contact you via surveys, emails, mail or phone calls about issues related to the 68WHS Website or items related to our graduating class.

68WHS will not sell, rent or lease its lists outside of the graduating class or to third parties. 

68WHS does not use or disclose sensitive personal information, without your explicit consent.  Related to members of our graduating class, the public areas of 68WHS will include only names and photos from our yearbooks or events.  You may specifically ask for an old yearbook photograph to be removed by sending a request through the 68WHS contact form or via mail to: 68WHS Website, 11539 Raspberry Hill Road, Eden Prairie, MN 55344.  Inclusion of alumni names only, of the Wayzata High School Class of 1968, is considered and treated as public information. 

68WHS Alumni Website Web sites will disclose your personal information, without notice, only if legally required to do so by law or if such action is (believed in good faith) necessary to: (a) comply with legal process served on 68WHS or its volunteers; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of 68WHS; and, (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users or volunteers of the 68WHS Alumni Website, or the alumni.

Use of Cookies

This site may supplement the information that you provide with information that is received from third parties. This specifically refers to information such as the "In Memory of" page departed classmates listings, which may be obtained from 3rd party public publications.
 
Photographs
Photographs are used in certain areas of the web site.  The source of photos include our yearbook, which are public information available at the library, along with photos that are taken during numerous gatherings, such as our alumni reunions. If you do not wish to have a photo appear on the web site (that is already there), or your image as part of a group photo, you may request removal as described in the, "Use of your Personal Information" section.

Changes to this Statement
68WHS will update this Statement of Privacy to reflect alumni feedback. 68WHS encourages you to periodically review this Statement to be informed of how 68WHS is protecting your information.
