The Mailing:
Our lists have been updated and we have posted
information regarding replies to the invitation. With information that
was brought to the meeting, our tally of responses to date is (36) yes, (11)
maybe, and (41) no. (8) guests would accompany the yes answers, so our
total need for the dinner cruise sits at (44) with (11) maybes. We
know that there are more answers that have not been received and will make
some calls.
The deliveries and returns of the mailing are mostly back
to us. We will update the class list to reflect our mailing. Our
information is slightly improved over the level of validation from the 40th
reunion. We are now at 56% of the class with verified email addresses.
We will ask those that have responded affirmatively for the reunion to each
reach out to a classmate to join us.
Friday Night
Activity:
In addition to considering Vicki Linden's
offer to host a Friday night gathering, Lucia is checking out details for
the Wayzata American Legion and will report back with findings. If
Vicki's place doesn't work out for Friday night, we will still consider the
possibility of hosting a Saturday afternoon for families and kids.
Dinner Cruise:
Bonnie
and Dusty will check into the dates for deposit and the sizes of available
boats. Our previous reunion was attended by about (70 - including
guests) and we will
find out how many different size boats are available. A decision on
the boat size will be made based on the date needed for the deposit on the
reservation for August 24th.
Next Meeting:
You are all invited to the next gathering at
the Wayzata Muni on Wednesday, July 17th at 6:30PM.
